Winter is an Irish Draught x thoroughbred , he is an honest reliable horse he enjoys hacking in company or alone, can get a little competitive in company. Good in traffic and with hounds, good to box, shoe, clip etc and is great to be with, he is very affectionate. He jumps everything from water troughs, ditches, banks, and poles. He jumped clear around Ardingly cross-country course last year with a friend riding him as seen in the above picture. He has spent most of his life hunting in Ireland, I bought him to hunt with but unfortunately due to a recent heart attack and continued heart problems I have to stop riding so this wonderful horse is going to waste. He needs to go to a home were he will be used, he has been ridden by a novice but could really do with an experienced rider. He has been seen to weave at meal times but lives happily out all year round with a good rug in the winter.
